Job description

My client is looking for a QA Technologist to play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, quality, and legality of all materials, products. The role is essential for ensuring compliance with all applicable food safety standards, legal regulations, and customer-specific requirements. The Technologist will work collaboratively with various departments to drive a continuous improvement culture while upholding the highest standards in hygiene and product quality. This is a key position within the Technical team, integral to delivering the company’s vision of consistent, high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

•Approve suppliers, ingredients, and packaging to ensure safety and legal compliance.

•Manage supplier non-conformances and maintain good-in records and Certificates of Analysis (CofAs).

•Provide technical support to Operations and NPD teams.

•Conduct audits (internal, GMP, glass/brittle plastic) and ensure compliance with BRCGS and customer standards.

•Perform cleaning validations, allergenic/microbiological testing, and lab testing (environmental, product, third-party samples).

The Candidate:

•Previous quality experience within food manufacturing

•Strong communication skills

•Proficient in MS Office and QA-related software systems.
