Job Title: Purchasing manager

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Mon - Friday 

Key responsibilities:

• To oversee all company purchases for food and non- food. • To oversee and to manage our Suppliers, their accreditation details and that all

supplier ingredient & technical specifications are kept up to date. • To maintain good relationships with our suppliers whilst negotiating best price

options at all times. • To oversee monthly stocktakes and to produce a monthly GP% Food Margin report. • To oversee and manage our complete product list and its implementation through

Cybake. • To oversee and manage our complete product list and their product specifications

through Erudus one. • To oversee the integration and updates of all our customer portals.

• To oversee our Traceability recording with the assistance of the production manager. To oversee all aspects of our packaging including the Flo wrapping of certain lines .In- depth knowledge of HACCP, quality procedures, and food safety practices

• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

Other occasional responsibilities as and when needed:

• To assist in the customer order processing and other day to day office duties as and when necessary.

• To maintain a positive attitude with your colleagues and to assist them when required. • To answer & respond to all telephone calls, messages & emails. • To process customer’s orders daily • Amend additions & corrections to daily delivery notes. • Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers. • Set up new customer accounts with delivery details when required. • Dealing directly with customer communications, complaints, issues and enquires.
