The Role
As Production Manager, you’ll take ownership of your shift’s output (PM) — ensuring that products are manufactured on time, in the right quantity, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll be a key player in driving performance, motivating your team, and fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the production team to deliver daily planned output with maximum efficiency.
- Plan and allocate workloads to meet production schedules while upholding a strong safety-first culture.
- Ensure compliance with all quality regulations and standards.
- Drive people performance through clear communication, regular briefings, and effective coaching.
- Identify root causes of production issues and implement lasting solutions.
- Collaborate closely with other site functions to maintain smooth workflows.
- Manage workforce planning, recruitment, training, and SOP sign-off.
About You
- Proven track record in leading production or operations teams within food manufacturing.
- Strong organisational, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and inspire.
- Knowledge of food production processes, safety compliance, and efficiency best practices.
- Proficient in SAP or other ERP systems.
- Familiarity with LEAN principles and problem-solving methodologies.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
