Production Manager – Large Scale Food Manufacturer

The Role
As Production Manager, you’ll take ownership of your shift’s output (PM) — ensuring that products are manufactured on time, in the right quantity, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll be a key player in driving performance, motivating your team, and fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the production team to deliver daily planned output with maximum efficiency.
  • Plan and allocate workloads to meet production schedules while upholding a strong safety-first culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality regulations and standards.
  • Drive people performance through clear communication, regular briefings, and effective coaching.
  • Identify root causes of production issues and implement lasting solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with other site functions to maintain smooth workflows.
  • Manage workforce planning, recruitment, training, and SOP sign-off.

About You

  • Proven track record in leading production or operations teams within food manufacturing.
  • Strong organisational, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and inspire.
  • Knowledge of food production processes, safety compliance, and efficiency best practices.
  • Proficient in SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with LEAN principles and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
