🚨 Full UK driving license (essential due to travel)
I am working with an industry-leading sweet desserts business to fill a business-critical Product Development Manager vacancy. Are you a creative force in product development, passionate with a sweet tooth, and feel ready to lead innovation in some of the UK's most iconic sweet brands?
In this exciting hybrid role (split between remote work and travel to London/Surrey), you'll take the lead in developing premium chilled and frozen desserts, while also giving classic ranges a deliciously modern twist.
✨ What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading the charge on innovative NPD projects for beloved brands
Collaborating across marketing, operations, packaging, nutrition, and regulatory teams to bring bold new ideas to life.
Owning the full product journey from concept to shelf, including financial analysis, P&L management, and stakeholder approvals.
Monitoring market trends and competitor moves to keep us one step ahead.
Driving creative launches, marketing campaigns, and BTL activations that get customers excited and engaged.
Partnering with commercial teams to shape long-term brand strategy and annual plans that win in-store and online.
🎯 What We’re Looking For:
3+ years’ experience in FMCG marketing and/ or product development, with a solid track record in brand management.
A natural innovator with a commercial mindset and a deep love of food—especially sweet treats!
Strong P&L, strategic, and analytical skills with a consumer-first approach.
Confident communicator and team leader, skilled at managing cross-functional projects and inspiring others.
Experience in desserts or chilled/frozen food categories is a big plus.
Bonus points for experience in setting up or managing a production centre.
