I’m working with a leading manufacturing business that is looking for a Packaging & Materials Buyer to take ownership of procurement operations across multiple sites. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives on negotiation, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration — while making a real impact on cost, compliance, and performance.

🔑 What you’ll be doing:

✔ Leading procurement for packaging and materials across manufacturing sites
✔ Owning supplier relationships — from onboarding to performance reviews
✔ Driving cost negotiations, benchmarking, and delivering savings
✔ Acting as the packaging specialist, working with Production, NPD, Warehousing & Distribution
✔ Streamlining systems, ERP processes, and reporting to support commercial goals

👤 What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years’ experience in packaging procurement (FMCG or manufacturing preferred)

• Strong negotiator with proven supplier management skills

• Analytical mindset, confident with market data and reporting

• ERP systems knowledge (ideally Infor M3)

• Excellent communicator and team player who thrives cross-functionally

• Packaging market knowledge and understanding of compliance & H&S protocols
