BASED NEAR WOLVERHAMPTON
ROLE
PURPOSE
Role at this level will develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with the Senior Leadership team on site, lead the team with a clearly defined sense of business direction and purpose, and lead our people and culture to deliver high standards. This role will also work closely with the Executive team to provide end-to-end solutions that support our business and our people
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading all aspects of the site including functions such as Operations, Quality, Distribution, Planning, Safety & Wellbeing, Customer Service and Business Process Management.
- Principal responsibility is to be in charge of leading and developing the efficiency and effectiveness of the operational business activities with accountability for the achievement of financial goals.
- Manage a Best Practice approach, supporting the company wide process and initiatives ensuring continuous improvement to enhance business execution.
- Work across business units and maintain close working relationships within all internal departments, customers, strategic partners and other stakeholders with whom the business has touch points in its operation.
- Lead the company’s vision and values to all employees. Serve as a role model for this vision and values and create and foster a culture of integrity throughout the organization with the Operations Manager to set the site up for success.
- Work closely with the HR and L&D team to ensure effective recruitment strategies, training, engagement and retention.
- Ensure the site's legal and statutory obligations are met.
- Manage all technical matters over sites and ensure the facility and procedures meet the highest safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Provide your Leadership team with coaching, advice and support across all areas of talent development, people leadership and development and organizational effectiveness.
- Actively participate and drive the evolution of culture and leadership within the business. This is core to the success of the Company and in creating differentiated customer experience
CANDIDATE
- Change & Stakeholder Management.
- Food Industry or related experience is essential.
- 5+ years of senior management positions held.
- Data analysis / Insights.
- Operational Planning.
- Great Execution of improvements and ideas.
- Managing Performance (goal setting, poor performance, people support)
- Time management, Problem solving & strong Communication skills.
Hours will be: Tuesday to Thursday 1330 – 2230hrs (27hrs), Friday 1330 – 2230hrs (9hrs) and Saturday 0800hrs – 1800hrs (10hrs)
46hrs per week
Salary band – £50K - £60k
Holidays: 28 days including bank holidays
