An established and fast-paced business in the food/FMCG sector is seeking a Product Demand Planner to join its supply chain team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in forecasting, stock management, and supplier coordination who thrives in a collaborative environment.
The Role
As Product Demand Planner, you’ll be responsible for:
Creating and maintaining accurate demand forecasts based on sales trends, seasonality, and business input.
Managing procurement plans and raising stock orders with global and third-party suppliers.
Monitoring stock levels to ensure availability while minimising excess or obsolete inventory.
Collaborating cross-functionally with commercial, technical, and operations teams to align demand plans.
Managing supplier relationships, tracking contract performance, and escalating risks proactively.
Supporting customer service teams during absence cover (e.g., holiday periods).
Providing regular reporting, KPI updates, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
What You’ll Need
Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain roles (ideally within FMCG or food sectors).
Confident working with Excel, ERP systems (SAP or similar), and data tools.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex data sets.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities.
