Job Overview
My client are seeking a dedicated Training Advisor for the Food and Drink Sector who will be responsible for the effective delivery, assessment and verification of high-quality, work-based learning, development and apprenticeship programmes, including qualification delivery and assessment, to the food and drink sector.
Responsibilities
– To provide training and assessment programmes for candidates across the UK
– Accurate record keeping of training records and of operational performance in line with stakeholder requirements
– Promote the use of e-learning and paperless system
– Responsible for ensuring all H+S audits are carried out
– Inducting, reviewing and assessing all learners undertaking Apprenticeship Standards incorporating SQA/FDQ/Highfield, SVQ's Diploma's and Functional Skills.
– Delivering training and development packages
– Contributing to projects as directed by the Training and Development Manager
Knowledge and Experience
– Knowledge and understanding of vocational work-based learning and training.
– Experience of working within manufacturing/processing/producing areas of Food and Drink sectors.
– Strong communication skills to effectively educate and engage audiences
– Competent in working with SharePoint, Word and Excel
– Excellent presentation skills to deliver impactful training sessions
Salary: £34,000-£39,000
Location: Can be based anywhere in the UK as this is a remote position. However, there will be travelling days to meet with clients with potentially up to 5 overnight stays a month.
