Key Responsibilities:

Conducting visits and audits of 3rd party manufacturers, compiling comprehensive reports, and following up on any non-conformances to ensure due diligence and facilitate continuous improvement plans.
Maintaining supplier and product risk assessments within your designated area of responsibility.
Ensuring products comply with relevant food and age group legislation, and proactively monitoring upcoming legislative changes for compliance.
Implementing quality and food safety standards for all new product development (NPD) and existing product development (EPD) projects.
Establishing a robust quality and food safety monitoring process over shelf life, promptly addressing any deviations, and ensuring product specifications include appropriate quality attributes.
Setting supplier KPIs, investigating complaints, identifying trends, and collaborating with suppliers to develop complaint reduction plans.
Preparing and reporting quality KPIs to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
Raising any non-conformances and working collaboratively with suppliers to identify root causes and approve corrective actions.
Ensuring effective implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) both internally and externally with suppliers.
Collaborating with the central Lotus QA team and suppliers to maintain product and site certifications, aligning with international market requirements.

Desirable Skills:

Practical knowledge of HACCP and the ability to apply its principles across various product categories.
Familiarity with GFSI recognized standards, demonstrating a strong awareness of industry best practices.
Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and effectively communicating outcomes.
Previous experience in a technical role, working seamlessly with cross-functional departments and 3rd party manufacturers, preferably both within and outside Europe.
Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems.
Exceptional relationship-building skills.
Highly organized with excellent prioritization abilities.
Outstanding communication skills at all levels, adept at simplifying complex concepts.
Keen attention to detail with a good sense of commercial awareness.
Self-motivated and eager to learn and develop professionally.
A minimum of 5 years of experience with proven capabilities within a technical or related role.
