Job Description

Our client are a Leading frozen and chilled food manufacturer based in Teeside. We are looking for a Technical Manager to run all aspects of technical on site. This is a chance to join and be associated with an industry leader.

The Candidate:
• Extensive knowledge of BRC standards

• Lead HACCP and internal/external audits on site

• Must have experience managing a technical or quality team

• Must be able to liaise with different departments and advice technical team accordingly

• Chilled or frozen food manufacturing experience desirable

The Role:
• Supporting the Operations manager and working with the General Manager to better technical and quality assurance functions

• Leading HACCP and internal Audits as well as assisting with third – party audits on site

• Provide training to direct reports as well as define a technical strategy to grow the technical function in the business

• Maintaining and developing all sections of Quality assurance, quality management and HACCP systems.

• Making sure all technical systems implemented are safe/legal and BRC higher standards are maintained

• To supervise the technical office and liaise with customers on all technical matters

The salary on offer
The annual salary is £40,000 – £50,000
