Job Description
My client due to planned growth in 2023 is currently looking for an accomplished Technical Manager who is passionate about delivering products to be proud of and can create a sense of passion within every individual in their team.
Reporting to the Head of Technical, you will deliver a robust technical strategy for the site. You will be tasked with implementing technical, quality and compliance systems/processes to ensure the highest quality is achieved. To ensure the implementation of these robust technical procedures, you will need to be comfortable with being hands-on in the factory and have the ability, vision and drive to understand how to create the best and most workable processes.

The candidate
We are seeking a dynamic, yet pragmatic Technical Manager who along with the technical skillset to thrive in this role will also embody that true ‘foodie’ nature. You will champion excellent standards across the business, really understanding the difference between what ‘good’ and ‘exceptional’ food is.
Having the ability to put yourself in the shoes of the consumer you will understand when quality standards are not being met and have the knowledge and commitment to seek solutions to deliver exceptional products.
Ideally, you will have well-rounded background gained within a food manufacturing environment. You must have experience in managing and implementing HACCP and BRC standards, with a successful track record of achieving excellence. You will be adept in building and leading a team with a high degree of delegation and autonomy, being agile, adaptive and solution orientated in everything you do.
