Position Overview:

They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Manager to join the team. As the Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the production of their famous selection of food and drinks products. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued success and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance: Oversee and manage all aspects of quality assurance to ensure products meet or exceed industry and regulatory standards.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Compliance: Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure the company's compliance with all relevant food safety and quality standards.
Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a dedicated technical team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to maintain and improve the quality of raw materials and ingredients.
Audits and Inspections: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, R&D, and supply chain, to achieve seamless integration of technical processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
Proven experience in a technical management role within the food and drinks manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
