ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Commercial the Technical Co-Ordinator's key task is ensuring that all matters relating to food safety, technical, legal, and quality are adhered to and maintained. They will work with the senior managers to help drive the company to achieve BRCGS accreditation. They will communicate directly with customers, suppliers, and direct consumers. This is an all-encompassing role responsible for the quality, product safety, due diligence, and legal requirement for the products sold. This person will work closely with all departments and must have a willingness to learn and be pro-active in delivering solutions. This Company is a small business with 24 employees and this hands-on role will mean getting fully involved with the team on a day-to-day basis.
CANDIDATE
This role would possibly suit someone who has recently graduated with a food related degree or equivalent and/or has a recent successful background within a technical role within the food industry. Experience in a food distribution/wholesale environment is desirable as is experience of working with BRCGS standards. You will have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
