ROLE
• Ensuring that all Food safety, GMP and QC checks are being carried out online as specified in work instructions, HACCP and process control documents
• To understand and apply the business Quality Standards ensuring company, customer and legislative requirements are met and maintained by setting standards and monitoring good manufacturing practices, applying HACCP principles and preventing reoccurrence of non-conformance against these standards
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers Carry out quality checks (e.g., product temperatures, fridge checks) and site auditing (e.g., hygiene, Glass & plastics, fabrication) and Critical Control Points (CCPs) verification/validation audits
• Actively participating in third party audits (e.g. BRC / HFA / HMC and etc.)
• Investigating complaints and ensure they are closed out to a satisfactory conclusion; work with the site team to reduce complaints
• Working closely with external technical consultants.
CANDIDATE
• Skills required Internal audit certification (desirable) HACCP level 2 (desirable)
• Displays effective communication, listening, influencing and persuading skills at all levels
• Confident using a Computer Self-organisation, motivation, planning, prioritising and time management
• Knowledge and understanding of the factory operation and the quality requirements of both the business and the customer.
