A chilled foods company, dedicated to providing products to all customers, and who have extensive experience in product development & technical knowledge are looking for a Technical Co-ordinator to join their family feel business.

Role: Technical Co-ordinator Role
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the role will require you to provide administrative and technical support to the business. A requirement of this role is to keep up to date with legislative and industry changes which affect the Company and its customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of customer complaints – log, investigate, complete root cause analysis, implement corrective actions and customer response
Create and amend finished product labels
Complete new product set ups
Investigate out of spec microbiological issues and implement corrective actions
Complete customer specifications
Create own format specifications
Complete customer supplier approval documentation
Monitor and update supplier approval documentation
Investigate internal non-conforming product
Manage supplier non-conformances
Complete trend analysis for complaints and non-conforming products
Reviewing procedures and documentation within the Quality Manual
Handling customer enquires
Complete monthly horizon scanning
Support Technical Manager on audits and customer visits
Provide cover for members of the Technical Team
Member of Internal Audit and HACCP team
Complete any other duties as requested by Technical Manager
Key Skills:
Achieved a 2:2 degree (or higher) in a food related subject (such as Food Technology, Food Science)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar technical role
Previous experience with BRCGS audits
Comfortable and confident with verbal and written communication
Attention to detail
Excellent organisation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
Comfortable working within a team
Prepared to support the business and colleagues when required
Self-managed and comfortable with making decisions to achieve agreed goals
Always looking at experiences to take learnings from and to grow
