About Company
We are currently Looking for a Technical Assistant to join a Food Agent and Broker. They source their products from all over the globe which they then supply to food manufacturers. They deal with both ambient and chilled goods.
About role
Full office role
–Reporting to Technical Manager
Roles and responsibilities:
• Dealing with customer technical requests and complaints.
• Involvement In HACCP team meetings and BRC Audits.
• Management of product specifications.
• Carrying out audits to make sure it complies with BRC standards.
• Assisting technical manager with day – day tasks.
Requirements
• Food Degree (ideal)
• HACCP and GMP knowledge
• Health and Safety knowledge
• BRC Knowledge.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Works well both independently and within small teams.
