JOB DESCRIPTION AND PERSON SPECIFICATION

Technical Account Manager

The Role
Working across two sites, the Technical Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing customer accounts.

Reports to: Group Technical Manager

Key Responsibilities

? Continuous improvement of site Technical processes and procedures.
? To assist in leading site audits and visits as required.
? To maintain site technical risk assessments.
? To ensure completion of the site validation work including allergen and speciation.
? Reduced raised internal and external non-conformance.
? On-going involvement in projects to maintain development within the HACCP system.
? Confident at managing customers on a day-to-day basis.
? Managing Specifications and being competent in writing Specs.
? Excellent understanding of the products manufactured within the factory.
? Strong communication with all staff within the Technical and other departments.
? Travel between both manufacturing sites.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

? Have the ability to liaise with the site management teams.
? Ensure effective lines of communication are in place within the Technical Department.
? Pro-actively engage the Technical Management team with ideas for development.
? To have a food related degree or equivalent and to have experience in food processing.
? Retailer experience is essential, preferably with experience of several different retailers.

Hours of Work

? Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
? WFH an option once the successful candidate has grasped the role.

Other Relevant Information:

? Full driving license, travel between both sites required
? There will be a requirement for the post holder to be flexible with their working hours to fit with the needs of the business.
