Job Description
An incredible Supply Planner opportunity has become available with a market leading organisation due to expansion. My client has been operating for 50+ years, selling the finest products within the UK and further afield. They are experts in what they do and always put both people and the planet at the heart of what they do.
The main purpose of the role is to provide a support service for the customer and sales managers with respect to delivering the companies commitment for product dates to the customers. You would, also be liaising between suppliers and maintaining service level targets, through taking a pro active approach. Create a short-term production plan whilst considering both supply and demand. Internal communication would also be with the buyers & sales team.
The successful candidate will have planning experience with systems such as MRP / ERP alongside excellent knowledge of Excel. Excellent relationship building skills, including relationships with suppliers as well negotiating skills is a must. Ideally you will come with Manufacturing experience. Future progression within this role & beyond will be laid out at interview. Brilliant career path.
