I am seeking an individual who can ensure a seamless customer order cycle, handle logistics, and assist with goods in administration for a well-established FMCG business. Your exceptional customer service, administration skills, and effective communication will be vital in providing outstanding service and support to customers and the team.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of c£30,000.00 d.o.e. and a unique “9-day fortnight” working pattern (every other Friday off).
The role:
• Process sales orders and set up new accounts.
• Prepare export documentation.
• Coordinate transportation for shipments and returns.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide B2B support.
• Collaborate with sister companies to meet despatch deadlines.
• Verify Goods In invoices and maintain filing.
• Generate reports on a daily and monthly basis.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and follow up for satisfaction.
• Manage correspondence and undertake ad-hoc duties.
• Provide holiday cover as needed.
The candidate:
• Understanding of demand vs supply and MRP systems.
• Experience with export documentation.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
• Resilience, patience, and effective time management.
• Professional telephone manner.
• Flexibility and ability to work independently.
