I am currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Administrator for a large food mancufacturer based in the Greater Manhester area.
Monday - Friday
This is a great oppourtunity for someone who wants to develop exisiting skills within an exciting manufacturer who is currently going from strength to strength.
The role of a supply chain administrator centres on supporting the wider supply chain team with administrative duties such as tracking deliveries, processing order confirmations and ordering stock.
• This role is responsible for taking the data from purchasing and inputting Purchase Orders as required ensuring all of the necessary data is complete and maintained throughout the import cycle until the stock is ultimately received both physically and in the ERP system.
• Liaising with suppliers regarding any delays in deliveries or issues that may need to be addressed.
Supply Chain Control:
•Maintaining the expected delivery dates in our ERP system for open Purchase Orders
•Booking / transferring stock into the ERP system
•Reviewing and reporting slow moving stock to senior management
Import / Export
•Work with external customers and suppliers (import/exporters, hauliers, RM suppliers and customers) to arrange the import / export of goods
•Track the order status of £60m imported goods, liaising with purchasing, suppliers, planning and finance to provide the information required to most effectively manage inventory and plan production and cash flow
•Work with Finance to manage our Import Trade Loans that finance our raw material imports
•Focused on reducing demurrage charges and recharging suppliers where required for demurrage caused by delays or inaccuracies on their part
