I am currently recruiting a Supplier Technical Manager for my client who is well-established in the Food industry, based in Essex.

Key responsibilities:
Supply Base Performance Analysis and Seasonal Review leading to progressive improvements
To ensure all product effectively exceeding customer standards
Supplier coordination
Ensure that all aspects of supply base due diligence are maintained and documented to meet internal and customer requirements.
Provide advice and assistance to the suppliers; and ensure that business and customer priorities are effectively communicated
To drive up standards of both UK and foreign suppliers/customers
Coordinating site technical standards
To provide support and guidance to the site TM , QA Manager and production teams of upcoming quality and availability challenges.
To assist internal departments in reviewing and revising their procedures and records as they affect technical requirements.
Customer management
Working in conjunction with the Site TM and Customer TM to ensure technical compliance to customer requirements by monitoring and inputting into relevant technical systems and feeding back.
Driving customer technical and product priorities
Identifying technical opportunities and technical growth

Ability to manage relationships at all levels within external customer teams and internally within the Business, and to adapt behaviour accordingly to ensure opinions are heard.
