Job Description

Job Title: Solar Site Manager

Location: South West (travelling required; You are ideally located within the Bristol, Reading, Gloucester, Bicester or Swindon area with good road connections to facilitate travel)

Working Hours: 40h/week

Salary: £40,000-50,000 per annum

Overview:

My client is a dynamic and fast-growing renewable energy company focusing on Solar PV within the commercial and industrial sectors.

If you are experienced in Commercial Solar Site or Project Management to a high standard, have a “can do” attitude and excellent problem solving skills, the ability to ensure efficient and effective operations, and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders, this role is for you.

Benefits:

You will be/have (REQUIRED):

· A good amount of site/project management experience within Commercial Solar PV

· Experience with risk assessment and method statement review

· Technical competence with Commercial Solar PV Systems, inspection, reporting & surveying

· A “can do” attitude and excellent problem-solving skills

· Electrical qualifications or background are very desirable

· Ability to work away 2-4 days per week

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What we are looking for (DESIRABLE):

· Telehandler and IPAF operation

· SMSTS certification or above

· Electrical qualifications/background

Job Responsibilities in a Nutshell:

· You will produce risk assessment and method statement reviews, inspect, report and survey commercial solar PV system sites

· Manage and have excellent communication with sub-contractors, clients and team-members, keep the projects on time and deal with any problems that arise during the project in a constructive manner
