Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £47,675 per annum

Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights)

Location: North Norfolk

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to join a leading FMCG business? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team in Fakenham. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Responsibilities:

Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on production equipment, machinery, and systems.
Respond promptly to breakdowns and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Perform diagnostics, troubleshoot faults, and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within the FMCG industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
