Your responsibilities will encompass assuring the safety, quality, and compliance of a variety of products under the company's brands, specifically:

Conducting audits of third-party manufacturers, compiling reports, and following up on any non-conformities to fortify due diligence and advance continuous improvement plans.
Managing supplier and product risk assessments within your designated scope.
Ensuring product compliance with pertinent laws and proactively addressing forthcoming legislative changes.
Instating quality and food safety standards for all NPD/EPD endeavors.
Overseeing product compliance with specifications throughout shelf life, addressing deviations, and confirming the inclusion of suitable quality attributes.
Establishing supplier KPIs, addressing complaints, identifying trends, and collaborating with suppliers to diminish complaints.
Generating and presenting quality KPIs to senior management.
Raising non-conformities, cooperating with suppliers to ascertain root causes, and approving corrective actions.
Serving as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams for inquiries related to product quality and food safety.
Streamlining and enhancing the Quality Management System with the QA team, in addition to supporting internal audits.
Implementing the QMS internally and externally with suppliers.
Coordinating with the central team and suppliers to sustain product and site certifications in accordance with global market prerequisites.

Desirable qualifications:

Proficiency in HACCP principles and their practical application across various product categories.
Sound knowledge of GFSI recognized standards, complemented by audit experience related to food safety.
Competence in performing risk assessments and effectively communicating their outcomes.
A track record of delivering outcomes in terms of product quality and supplier compliance.
Prior engagement in a technical role, collaborating with cross-functional departments and third-party manufacturers (ideally, both within and outside Europe).
Proficiency in Quality Management Systems, ideally encompassing procedure creation and/or internal auditing.
Strong relationship-building abilities.
Exceptional organization and prioritization skills.
Effective communication skills at all organizational levels, with an aptitude for simplifying complex concepts.
Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with a holistic view and solid commercial awareness.
Self-motivation and a keenness for growth, coupled with an eagerness and appetite for learning.
At least 3 years of experience, demonstrating proven capabilities in a technical or equivalent role.
Experience dealing with major UK retailers would be advantageous.
