Senior Process Technologist, E&R Yorkshire
Job Description
Are you a Process Technologist with a few experience inside the food industry??
If so, I have a great opportunity with a leading food manufacturer as a Senior Process Technologist based in the East riding of Yorkshire.
The role is responsible for the successful scale up and validation of NPD and EPD products into the factory following test kitchen approval, supported by the relevant site functions.
Project manage each product launch to a critical path, with the ability to make informed decisions, be analytical and to communicate to all levels including Operatives and the Customer
Works with passion and pride always, demonstrating this through results and in-depth knowledge of food and site processes.
Ownership, co-ordination, and communication of activity from the Handover from NPD through to launch.
This includes all NPD, EPD, Transfer Projects and VAVE (value adding, value engineering).
Desirable qualities –
Degree or equivalent level (desirable in food related discipline)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role, ideally within a process or NPD function.
Working knowledge of Food Manufacturing practises, ideally FMCG.
Understanding of HACCP application and considerations
The salary is range for this role is £37,000 – £42,000
