Senior National Account Manager
Purpose of role:
Deliver, grow and nurture existing business in the UK & Ireland, you will be the contact for key accounts for retail, and wholesale customers. Responsible for maintaining and growing sales on existing SKUs and launching new products lines.
Hybrid working – Circa 2 days site in South West London, rest WFH
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage customer relationships in order to maintain sales and elevate growth.
Provide input into the Sales and Operational Planning (“S&OP”) process to ensure service levels are met through effective forecasting and demand planning.
Identify and develop profitable new business with existing customers.
Lead negotiations on all elements of pricing, terms, and promotions.
Develop annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
Promote and support new product launches.
Deliver an outstanding understanding of your customer expectations, ensure this is verbally communicated to the business and their expectations are met.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of the competitive market and customer strategies to identify future sales opportunities.
Skills and Experience:
Previous Senior Account management/Sales experience in an FMCG environment.
Previous dairy, chilled foods or short-life products experience essentia
Experience managing retail accounts; Top 4 grocers and/or Co-op, Ocado, Waitrose
Excellent communication skills, confident in building and maintaining relationships.
Strong commercial acumen, keen eye for detail and meticulous
Strong negotiation skills
Can fit into a small team and demonstrate a team approach.
Ability to make informed decisions at pace.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Must be willing to travel
Up to £65,000 + car allowance, bonus + benefits.
