The Company
Since opening their doors and beginning their manufacturing over 60 years ago they have grown to be one of the UK leading food producers with multiple sites across the UK and beyond. Now employing over 10,000 people in the UK they supply their fresh and frozen products to leading supermarkets and foodservice providers.
Now, due to business need they are looking to add a Senior HR Officer/ HRBP to their site in Derby to be part of the senior leadership team.
The Role
As the Senior HR Officer you will be reporting into the Factory Manager, managing your HR Assistant, and developing your HR team. Your duties will be of a stand-alone HR generalist, they will be varied and include.
• Work closely with Factory Manager and leadership team to deliver people & culture business goals.
• Manage effective recruitment and retention solutions, performance reviews and employee rewards & recognition.
• Provide training & coaching and support to line manager on HR policies and procedures and legal requirements.
• Deliver site change management projects on site, acting as project lead.

Your Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role you ideally be from an FMCG food manufacturing environment, you will need.
• CIPD qualified 5 – 7
• Ability to partner with senior leadership team and line managers.
• Experience with change management
• Extensive knowledge of generalist people & culture duties including ER, recruitment, talent management and engagement
• Excellent knowledge of employment laws, ACAS codes of practice and people & Culture policies.
