Job Title: Senior Furnace Engineer
Salary: £75,000
Location: West Lancashire

Job Role

• Project lead for Glass Melting Furnace
• Forming Tin Bath for Float Manufacturing projects
• Technical lead on projects for the Refractory engineering work
• Prepare refractory packages for procurement

Who they need

• Chartered Engineer Status with Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) or equivalent institution
• Obtained a master’s degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent degree)
• Knowledge and experience of furnace refractory technology, preferably glass melting furnaces
• Management of internal and external resources
• Skilled at prioritisation
• Pro-active
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
