Senior Demand Planner, East England
Job Description
My client is a UK leading food manufacture which produce many household brands that you know and love!
Due to expansion, they have a new role for a Senior Demand Planner who will be responsible for the forecasting activities associated with key UK and international customers and products. This job features managing a team of 2 and playing an integral part in the IBP cycle and meetings. This job will suit an experienced Demand Planner who wants career progression in an established yet growing company.
The Role:
•To work alongside the Sales, Production and Buying Team and create accurate and efficient plans to forecast customer demand.
•Regular contact with suppliers and customers to ascertain needs and requirements as well as to maintain a good understanding of any seasonal spikes and promotions
•Detailed analysis of historic information to allow you to predict upcoming needs
•Constant updating and maintenance of the company MRP system
The Candidate:
•An experienced and confident Demand Planner – with food or FMCG experience
•A systems expert, fluent in ERP/MRP
•A highly personable candidate with strong communication and presentation skills
•Management experience
