A brand-new opportunity has come to join a food importer as a Sales Planner. This role offers fantastic growth opportunities for the individual that grabs this chance.
12-month progression plan
On site parking
Assist Sales personnel with sales of produce, including the production of sales statistics.
Update Southern Hemisphere and European Arrival boards with all relevant information and ensure relevant stakeholders and Buyers are kept informed and updated.
Manage and plan transport in Southern Hemisphere and European seasons.
Develop and maintain an effective relationship with all stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and required information is always provided.
Liaise with clearance agents to ascertain estimated times of arrival (ETA’s) for all Southern Hemisphere and European produce, keeping Buyers informed.
Update and maintain accurate stock sheets, during and after morning sales, as and when required.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience of working in a Sales / Administration / Accounts capacity.
Fresh Product knowledge.
Strong knowledge of Excel.
High levels of communication skills – written and verbal.
Planning and Organisation.
