Nutrition, Dairy and Dairy-Alternatives

Germany

I am recruiting for a leading global distributor who operation across food, pharmaceuticals and animal nutrition ingredients.

I am looking to speak with candidates from a strong ingredients background and ideally who have experience selling in to dairy and dairy alternative ingredients and applications.

Responsibilities

•You are responsible for selling a very exciting portfolio of food ingredients for global partners to companies in Germany and Austria.

•These ingredients include unique solutions for clean(er) label, taste, plant-based proteins for vegetarian alternatives, micronutrients or for shelf life extension and texture.

•You are responsible for the entire nutrition market segment as well as dairy products and plant-based

•You develop your market by constantly proactively seeking contact with contacts in marketing and R&D for customers and non-customers in order to present attractive solutions. After your customer appointments, you create visit reports.

•With your sales and marketing know-how, you prepare supplier portfolios and presentations so that you score with the right arguments at customer meetings.

•If your customer needs tailor-made innovations or recipes, you can help – as a link between your customers, partners and global technical centers
.
•You are part of the internal sales meeting by presenting your figures transparently. You work with Sales Support.

Experience

•You have relevant professional experience in the sale of food ingredients in the Nutrition & Dairy sector, for example at a food ingredients manufacturer or distributor.

•You are interested in the German and European market; That's why you get to know consumer trends, regulatory developments and the offers of competitors, from which you develop consulting and sales approaches.

•You have a feel for the needs of your customers such as cost-in-use, clean label, taste, texture, healthy nutrition, etc., which is why you can offer them exactly the right products, solutions and services.

•You think and act entrepreneurially.

•In an international company with many international partners, your intercultural understanding, your strong communication and teamwork skills and your high level of social skills will help you.

•You need good written and spoken German and English on a daily basis, other languages are an advantage.
