Our client, a fantastic market leading FMCG business with an excellent reputation, has had a new Sales Executive position open up! An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Sales person to join the team at the site and get their chance to work for a fast paced, multi-national and well established company.
Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing sales and developing new opportunities to contribute as part of the wider team towards personal, UK and overall company targets and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
•Maintain, develop and increase sales within existing customer base.
•Forward plan and deliver robust and cost-effective brand development plans.
•Maintain and bring on new hospitality companies.
•Maintain Client relationships
•Collection and internal communication of customer/market feedback on our brands.
•Reporting on sales performance and financial returns.
•Represent the company and brands at industry events, trade shows, exhibitions, conferences.
The above duties and responsibilities are not an exhaustive list, and you will be expected to perform different tasks commensurate with your role and as necessitated by your role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
Qualifications/Essential Technical Expertise:
•Knowledge within the Coffee and/or drinks industry
•Competent IT user and experienced in suite of Microsoft packages.
Essential Experience:
•Demonstrable experience of working in a sales environment ideally within the food and drinks sector, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
•Experience of working with a range of internal and external stakeholders and building strong and effective working relationships.
•Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workload.
Desirable:
•Understanding of the Coffee and/or Drinks industry.
•Experience operating both national and regional wholesale accounts.
•A history of planning and building robust customer brand plans in conjunction with internal brand teams.
What do you get?
Salary: Circa £40,000 d.o.e
Bonus: £5,000
