Our client are a well-established business, with over 50 years’ experience supplying poultry feed to UK customers. They pride themselves on high quality and aim to be the UK’s most efficient producer of consistent, high quality feed and to support their partners achieve best cost production.
The role is that of a Regional Engineering Manager based at their sites in East Anglia, you will be responsible for all UK sites and ultimately be responsible for the UK Engineering Capability and deliver the companies operational goals aligned to key objectives through maximising efficiency, enabling growth and implementing Engineering Excellence.
•In conjunction with the Operations Director, you will develop and implement the Engineering Strategy, talent, policies and practices across the sites to support the business growth programme and deliver engineering excellence, reliability and effective maintenance.
•Lead the Group Engineering Team, promoting an engaging and inclusive culture.
•Provide essential technical support and oversight where relevant for capital projects across the group. Supporting projects and delivered on time and in full.
•Implementation of predictive maintenance activities including condition-based maintenance manufacturing routines, vibration analysis, etc.
•Report on engineering activities on a regular basis ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators
•Manage robust planning processes to ensure sustainable capital plans are implemented without impacting on customer service
•Engineering degree or equivalent in experience, must have experience in Mechanical with a knowledge of Electrical and Automation
•Strong experience within a reliability centred role with working knowledge of relevant ‘best practice’ engineering techniques
•Proven experience of success in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
•Experience within continuous and batch manufacturing facilities, specifically with solids handling and rotating equipment
•Good knowledge of project management and capital project management processes
•Demonstrable experience leading and inspiring a multi discipline engineering team
•Proven track record in delivering effective engineering programmes, policies, processes and systems
