Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to join our team in Kent. As the Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance in our food production processes. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance, quality control, and food safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive quality management systems to ensure product quality and safety.
Establish and maintain quality standards, procedures, and specifications in line with industry regulations and company standards.
Lead a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, research and development, and supply chain, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints and quality issues in a timely and effective manner.
Manage and maintain the documentation of quality records and reports.
Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices in quality management.
Promote a culture of quality and food safety throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the food manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, GMP, and other relevant quality standards.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager) is a plus.
