Job Description
My client is seeking a Quality Manager to join their expanding team, following continuous growth.
Role Overview:
Lead all aspects of Technical and Quality Management. The role requires compliance with food safety legislation, ISO 22000, and BRC standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, focusing on BRC and ISO accreditation.
• Develop and implement the Quality and Food Safety Management System.
• Improve manufacturing facility operational effectiveness.
• Review non-conformances and customer complaints.
• Manage internal audit schedules.
• Maintain technical documentation and specifications.
• Approve and audit suppliers, maintaining an approved database.
• Lead and develop the Technical Department.
• Advise on food safety, hygiene, labelling, and health and safety legislation.
• Maintain the company’s AA-grade BRC accreditation status.
Qualifications:
• Experience in a similar role within the food industry.
• Training/qualifications in Food Safety, HACCP, Health & Safety, and internal auditing.
• Familiarity with ERP-based manufacturing environments.
