QC Laboratory Manager – South Wales
I'm currently working with a world leader in Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical manufacture. They are looking for a QC Laboratory Manager to join their team.
The QC Laboratory Manager has responsibility for the quality control of the products within the laboratories. The QC Laboratory Manager must ensure GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) is maintained to be sure that testing results guarantee that product supplied to customers is of the highest possible standard.
Key Responsibilities
•Responsibilities include but not limited to team management / development and training, safety, timely release of stock, maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
•Review of customer testing requirements and integration in to the laboratory.
•Drive continuous improvement in QC Management in the laboratories to meet the clients and customer’s objectives.
•Management of non-conformances and reporting. To assist in investigations and facilitate the close outs.
•To work with the relevant departments to ensure the seamless introduction of new products or customers or suppliers to site.
•Participation during customer & regulatory audits.
•To support the Quality department with recruiting and training new recruits
• To support the Quality Department and Manager in any other relevant quality tasks including but not limited to hygiene matters and deputising for the Quality Manager.
