Quality Control Technician

My client who are a leading food manufacturer based in Somerset are looking for a Quality Control Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is looking to take the next steps in the career within the food and nutrition industry.
The role (including but not limited to)

• Set up and run daily taste panels
• Perform product tests (moisture and GCMS)
• Take microbiology swabs and water samples
• Conduct audits within the factory

The candidate
• Understanding or experience working in a laboratory environment within the food industry
• Competent IT skills (word, excel)
• GCSE or equivalent at Grade C or above in Maths and English
