Our client are a leading chilled and frozen ready meal manufacturer looking for a Quality Auditor for their site based in Tyneside. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global industry leader as well as be trained and gain experience with a renowned company. A successful candidate will also join a company that is keen on training their staff to gain certifications and understanding.
The candidate:
• Should have HACCP understanding.
• Food manufacturing experience desired
• Understanding/experience with auditing desired
• Food Safety Understanding/certification
• Wanting to work in a quick thinking and fast paced environment.
The role:
• Carrying out root cause analysis
• Completing and investigating customer complaints
• Ensuring independent process and product checks are completed in each area according to the schedule
• Play active role in auditing. (Training can be provided)
• To maintain and meet the analysis schedule for using the appropriate systems and sampling
• To understand and implement the Allergen awareness, procedures, and controls
The salary is Circa £23,000
