Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum

Company Overview: We are a leading food manufacturing company based in Suffolk, known for producing high-quality food products. With a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement, we are now seeking a skilled and dedicated Quality and Process Manager to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview: As the Quality and Process Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and process efficiency within our food production facility. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control, process optimisation, and compliance with relevant regulations, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement robust quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor and maintain quality performance metrics, conducting regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, conducting supplier audits and managing quality-related aspects of the supply chain.
• Lead and train a team of quality control technicians, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and proactively implementing necessary adjustments.

Requirements:
• Proven experience (2 years) in a quality control or process management role within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, quality control methodologies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HACCP, BRC, FSSC22000).
• Experience in implementing and managing quality systems, such as ISO 9001.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
