QA Technologist, Hampshire
Job Description
My client who are a leading Food Manufacturer in Hampshire are looking for a driven and confident QA Technologist to join their team. The Role – (including but not limited too)
• Identifying and maintaining Compliance to retailer codes of practice through gap analysis & factory work including auditing
• Assisting in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality and HACCP systems.
• Assist the process team to ensure paperwork and systems are in place ahead of launch on new products, and ensure safety, legality and quality of all products
• Investigate complaints and incidents when required ensuring root cause is identified.
• Undertake internal audits and supplier audits if required
• To be an active member of the HACCP team
• Inspect raw materials
• Undertake daily, weekly, monthly audits – glass, GMP etc
The Candidate –
• Knowledge of HACCP and factory QMS gained through similar role in the food industry
• HACCP and Food Safety qualifications desirable
• IT literate
• Team player
