Quality Assurance Technologist

Client

I am working with an exceptional client of mine who are established and highly regarded within the industry. My client strives for excellence and are looking to add a QA tech to the team of 4 on site

Package

Job: Quality Assurance Technologist
Package: Up to £30,000 + 10% matched pension
Location: Bristol

Role

•Assist in the investigation of complaints including the necessary reporting, returned materials evaluation & reporting, communication, and corrective actions, as per the site customer complaint procedure
•Perform routine factory-based food safety and quality standards inspections and audits including (but not an exhaustive list): Fabrication inspections, GMP, Hygiene Verification audits, foreign body inspections, layered confirmation audits, logging all non-conformances.
•Work cross-functionally in root cause analysis and investigations following site and product non conformances
•Member of the sites internal audit team and the completion of GMP & systems audits
•Perform the sites mock recalls in line with company and customer expectations, completing post mock recall reviews to continuously improve

Requirements/Experience

•Diploma or Higher in a Food Science related subject
•Experience in a Manufacturing environment in a similar role
•Knowledge of the BRC Global Food Standard
•Technical & Functional Expertise
