Production Support Manager, Central Scotland

Job Description

Our client is a highly successful and reputable food processing business, that produces a range of quality products supplied nationally.
As a key member of the Production team, you will work collaboratively with Production Managers to improve efficiencies and enhance the skills and experience of your team whilst ensuring Health & Safety, Quality and BRC standards are maintained.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
• Proven experience in a production role in the food industry is essential
• Strong Analytical skills – ability to produce and analyse various reports to monitor and drive efficiencies
• Strong IT skills
• Organisation of day-to-day production schedule to meet customer orders
• Overseeing routine production activities to ensure the smooth running of process on production floor
• Troubleshooting and solving issues that arise on a production floor and regularly checking machinery to ensure smooth running
• Drive compliance to ensure all BRC Standards are achieved and maintained
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and lead a large team of supervisors and operators
• Be able to self-manage and work flexibly with a positive ‘can do’ attitude

What’s on offer?
Commensurate salary between £40,000 – £45,000 – dependant on the value of existing experience in a similar role
