Position – Production Supervisor

An exciting new role has just landed on my desk with a rapidly growing manufacturing client in Dorset. This opportunity is targetted to production supervisors who are looking for a new challenge, a step up in their career where they can develop and progress their skills. This award winning establishment have a fantastic reputation within the market and are looking for a production supervisor who can support and work with the producton manager

Role:

1. Able to lead teams within specific areas to ensure production targets are met and KPI’s are recorded and reported accurately to areas within the business that need the feedback or data
2. Using KPI information to drive continuous improvements in the area of responsibility to help teams work with better efficiency allowing them to reach the desired targets and help with business growth
3. Continuously monitoring the area of responsibility to ensure it is safe for the personnel and for the product being produced, stored or transported. Any issues need to be reported in a timely manner to enable root-causes to be identified and resolved
4. Manage team numbers to ensure correct levels of personnel are applied to each line or area. Manage leave requests and the requirement of holiday cover and manage absence using HR policies

Requirements:

1. FMCG experience
2. Motivated and eager to progress
3. Knowledge of health and safety

Salary – up to £32,000
Shift – Mon-fri
Location – Dorset
