Salary: £40,000
Location: Northamptonshire
Position Type: Full-Time
Shift: Monday to Friday double days 6-1, 1-8
Are you a highly organized and motivated individual with experience in managing shifts within a Plastic or Print manufacturing environment? My client are seeking a talented Shift Manager to join the team.

Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of production operators during assigned shifts
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment
Monitor production targets and quality standards, taking proactive measures to optimize output and minimize downtime
Coordinate shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and smooth handovers
Train and develop team members, providing guidance and support to enhance performance
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and resolve any operational issues
Maintain accurate records and reports regarding production output, incidents, and maintenance activities
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement cost-effective solutions
Foster a positive work culture and promote teamwork among shift personnel
Requirements:
Previous experience in a shift management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastic packaging
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team
Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficiency in using computer systems and production software
