D R Newitt are partnered with an existing client in the Netherlands and looking for a new member of their production team due to growth
•Manage employees of the department in such a way that orders are processed as efficiently as possible and in accordance with HACCP and BRC standards and procedures.
•Ensures order and cleanliness on the floor. Checks whether the cleaning plan is being complied with by employees and makes adjustments where necessary.
•Ensures the correct handling of incidents, both physical and administrative.
•Explicitly collaborates with fellow foremen.
•Is the first point of contact for the employees of his/her department and the other foremen.
•Directly supervises employees of his own department.
•Together with the other foremen, he ensures optimal operational planning, monitors progress, makes adjustments where necessary and communicates this to the departments involved.
•Resolves problems/conflicts in planning, has a customer-oriented attitude.
•Deployment of temporary workers after consultation with Production Manager
•Experience within a food production setting
