Production Administrator
Location: Uddingston, Glasgow
Salary: Flexible depending on experience.

Reports To: Production Administrator Manager.
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting a fast-paced production environment? We are looking for a Production Administrator to join our team, where you'll play a key role in supporting our production operations and ensuring smooth workflow through accurate and timely administrative assistance.
The Role
As a Production Administrator, your primary responsibility is to provide essential administrative support to the production team. You will ensure production work orders are accurately closed and assist in managing discrepancies, while keeping the ERP system up to date and supporting other administrative tasks within the department.
Key Responsibilities
• Closing Production Work Orders: Ensure the timely closing of production work orders once production runs are complete on each line.
• Material Usage Discrepancies: Investigate and resolve any material usage variances or discrepancies to maintain accuracy in production records.
• RDT System Updates: Upload dry and raw material data into Radio Data Terminals (RDTs) to ensure the correct ingredients are selected for production.
• ERP System Maintenance: Keep the ERP system updated with relevant data as needed to support production efficiency.
• Chilled Coding Admin Support: Provide cover for Chilled Coding Administrators when required, including managing customer orders, creating paperwork for dispatch, and printing product labels.
• Communication: Keep the Factory Manager, Senior Production Manager, and Production Managers informed about any issues related to closing work orders or the ERP system.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Liaise with other departments to help achieve production goals.
• General Administration: Assist with day-to-day office and administrative tasks as needed.
• Ad Hoc Duties: Take on additional tasks as directed to support the team and production objectives.
Skills/Personal Attributes
• Communication Skills: Excellent spoken and written English with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Competent in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage and prioritize your workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional Attitude: A positive, professional approach to work with strong attention to detail.
Experience
• FMCG Environment: Experience within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment is desirable but not essential.
• Administration Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role is beneficial.
Hours of Work
• Standard Hours: 45 hours per week, from 06.00 to 15.00.
• Cover for Chilled Coding Admin: When providing cover, you will work a rotating eight-day shift pattern. This includes four consecutive 12-hour shifts (05.00-17.00), followed by four days off.
