An unbelievable opportunity has become available to join a rapidly growing distributor as a Senior Buyer. You will be joining a tight knit team full of ambition with the chance to progress to a Procurement Manager within a short period of time.

The Role Will Consist of But Won’t Be Limited To…?

Preparing costings and making purchases within approved limits.

Negotiate contract terms with key suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms.?

Compile and maintain supplier databases.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.

Maintain supplier approval process in line with BRCGS requirements.

Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy.??

Research new materials/suppliers to make cost savings and meet sustainability requirements.

Skills and Experience?

Must have purchasing experience.

Experience in Food/FMCG would be desirable.

Excel skills are a must.

Must be flexible to travel overseas and overnight as and when required.
