In this role, you would be responsible for managing multiple product lines and leading factory negotiations and agreements with suppliers. You'll need to bring your previous Procurement experience to the table in order to hit the ground running and drive improvements in the purchasing function.
Needs to be flexible to travel globally as part of the role.
Monday to Friday, 1 day a week WFH – 0830 – 1700
Reporting to the Director: As the new Procurement Manager, your duties will be varied and include managing and developing your direct reports.
•Manage existing suppliers and source new suppliers both in the UK and globally.
•Source and purchase products that deliver excellent availability, minimal waste, and are cost effective whilst without compromising quality.
•Lead negotiations whilst maintaining solid relationships.
•Maintain accurate stock and pricing records.
You the Candidate
•Experience within a manufacturing environment
•Previous Procurement experience
•Previous experience with Global Suppliers- understanding their Supply Chains
•Advanced Excel (and ideally ERP)
