Job Description

My Client are looking for an Injection Moulding Tool Setter/Polymer Processor where you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. As a Tool Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining various tools and equipment to ensure efficient production operations. This role requires a keen eye for detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with the production team.

Title: Injection moulding Tool Setter/Polymer Processor

Salary: £35,000-£38,000

Shift:Earlies, Backs, Nights

Duties:
– Set up and adjust tools and machinery for production runs.
– Monitor machinery during operation to ensure proper functioning.
– Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
– Collaborate with the production team to optimize tooling processes.
– Troubleshoot issues with tools and make necessary adjustments.
– Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:
– SolidWorks or CAD experience preferred.
– Mechanical knowledge for tool setup and maintenance.
– Familiarity with welding, milling, and tooling processes.
– Understanding of logic controllers is a plus.
– Experience in a warehouse setting handling materials.
– Proficiency with hand tools for adjustments and repairs.
