Planning and Performance Analyst

Position: Planning and Performance Analyst
Location: Teynham

Role Summary:
As the Planning and Performance Analyst, you will play a vital role in controlling and maintaining accurate production planning processes across our business. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure complete and deliverable scheduling of all products and production lines. You will manage daily and weekly planning in the ERP system, optimizing production performance and meeting business and customer demands. Additionally, you will provide key performance metrics and reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across the operation and wider business. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Create a rolling 7-day forecast in the ERP system using Scheduler tools and customer forecasts/insight.
Develop and refine a final production plan for the following day, considering internal and external factors.
Submit daily shift labour requirements to support the delivery of the plan.
Collaborate and communicate with customers to incorporate stock arrivals, quality issues, and job types into the production plan.
Provide comprehensive communication to the business regarding volume planning, actuals, and the impacts on the plan.
Ensure key master data tables in the ERP system are up to date and reviewed on a weekly basis.
Manage the accurate and timely creation of new products within the ISS-NLF system.
Handle key system administration functions related to works order and sales order synchronization, resolving any arising issues.
Generate reports on key performance metrics for shift performance using a range of system and MS-based tools.
Oversee various processes and departments within the supply chain to ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate and control production workflow for multiple products.
Support the training and development of team members and assist other supply chain teams when needed.
Cooperate with customers to set up and manage information within the ERP system.
Maintain a cleaning schedule for the engineering department.

Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
Strong numerical skills and high proficiency in Excel.
Previous experience within a production environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Achievement of internal KPIs related to planning and performance.
Efficiency and accuracy in managing workload and tasks.
Attention to detail in all planning activities.
Strong internal relationships with team members and effective supervision of line operatives.
